From Kathy's Review Corner:

A Purrfect Love

By Patti Fischer

The Wild Rose Press - October 2007

Contemporary Romance

Dangling on the side of her apartment building dressed in her Halloween costume for work was not how
Marisa Hamilton had planned her morning. All she'd tried to do was air out the apartment, but her cat Molly
had decided to make her great escape.

Ben Singer didn't know what to make of the scantily clad woman he had rescued, or her cat. But soon, it didn't
matter to him. He was attracted to her, and he found himself craving her attention and time. He also was
rather happy that Molly had decided to make a break, especially since Marisa was okay, and he had been able
to play hero.

A Purrfect Love was a sweet short story by new author Patti Fischer. I was hooked from the first paragraph
when I realized that Molly was narrating. We only have Molly's Point of View (POV) for a short time. I also
enjoyed the romance between Marisa and Ben. I feel that Ms. Fischer more than adequately developed the
plot for the length of this story. I look forward to more stories from this author.

Five books from The Long and Short of it reviews:

If you are looking for something light and sweet this Halloween - A Purrfect Love by Patti Fischer delivers
just that. As with any Halloween story, a mischievous black cat is mandatory. Molly, a black Persian with
attitude to spare, sets the tone. The reader soon realizes that Marisa (aka the owner & mommy) does
not stand a chance. Clearly, Molly feels she needs to take matters into her own paws where her owner's
love life is concerned.

Ms. Fischer does a good job of developing the characters and plot within the narrow boundaries of a
short story. A Purrfect Love is a Halloween short story that should 'bewitch' the reader. I smiled through
out the entire story and found the characters of Marisa and Ben enchanting. And of course, Molly is
purrfect.

Marisa is having a terrible morning. And on top of everything that has gone wrong,
her cat Molly decides to take a walk on the ledge of their apartment building.
Chasing the cat leads straight to Ben’s apartment. The sparks fly between them
instantly as Molly watches on.

A Purrfect Love is a really cute story. Patti Fischer has created a believable couple
in an outrageous situation. A must read for romance lovers.

Light hearted and breezy A Purrfect Touch is a nice way to spend a
few minutes of your day. I had a smile on my face by the time I read
the last word and felt a little better about the world.
